I've had my Turtle Beach Stealth Pro Gen 2 headset for four years now, and I was thrilled to bring them home after reading all the positive reviews. When they first arrived, I was excited to dive in and start tweaking different sounds and presets to my liking - it's been a game-changer for me. The audio hub is indeed a nice bonus feature, allowing me to customize my experience even further. However, after using them with my turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 headset, I quickly realized that the wireless connectivity could be improved. It seemed like whenever someone was talking, I'd never get any of their words - it would cut in and out just as they were saying their sentence. This became frustrating enough to watch countless hours of pro videos, which didn't give me much insight into why this was happening.

Despite my disappointment with the wireless connectivity, I have been impressed with how easy it is to update these headsets - a huge plus for me! The app works seamlessly across multiple devices, including Windows and macOS. A few other users had mentioned that you can only update them from the computer window 10 or higher, which initially seemed like a problem but upon further research I discovered that it's simply a matter of updating your device as well. Since I'm already using my Mac, this is an easy solution for me.

While the headsets do feel substantial at first, with ten pounds in weight - a lot more than my old ones! After a few days, however, the bulk doesn't seem to be noticeable, and they're even easier to use now. I've had some issues with the wheel, which can be quite difficult to turn. This is not something I experienced as much when using my turtle beach stealth 600 gen 2 headset. The sausage fingers are another plus - incredibly easy to navigate through menus and adjust settings. However, a few users have reported that you'll get hot and sweaty ears after a short period of time, so maybe this isn't the best solution for everyone.

One other thing I've noticed is that they're quite expensive compared to their original price! But when I had them as my Gen 2 headset - which was used extensively in battle scenes before being retired - I thought I'd already gotten an amazing value. It's been worth every penny, though, with the ease of use and convenience of double battery swap. This has saved me from having to deal with heat issues or needing frequent charging. And it's incredibly convenient to be able to simply plug them back in when they run out of power - this is a huge bonus!

I was already holding out hope that my previous replacement wouldn't be a repeat issue, but after experiencing another problem with my headphone - I'm not using the built-in mic and can only hear myself when gaming. My boom mic just isn't working as expected, so I need to switch to the integrated mic on this headset.

Since I've had this particular model for less than a year, it's frustrating that I'll have to go through the process of getting a replacement again. This time it seems like I'm being directed away from our support team and towards Turtle Beach's assistance.

The situation with my headphones is even more unacceptable when you factor in the cost - another €200+ euros I've spent on this headset, only to be left with one functional piece of equipment. That's not just frustrating; it's a huge financial waste.

I'm extremely disappointed that I had to deal with poor customer service from both parties involved. My experience with Turtle Beach has been consistently subpar.
