The Arctis wireless headset has certainly improved significantly since my last experience with the Sony Pulse, offering a noticeable step up in terms of packaging and overall quality that feels premium from the get-go. This level of quality was noticeably absent with the Pulse, which felt like an afterthought compared to these new additions. One of the most notable differences is their impressive adjustability, which has allowed me to fine-tune my fit to perfection - a crucial aspect when it comes to comfort and performance in gaming. Additionally, setting up with a PS5 was seamless, simply plugging in the wireless dongle and playing got us up and running within minutes. However, the mobile app is where things really shine, providing customized profiles that have taken our gaming experience to new heights - particularly noticeable in Call of Duty, which has seen a significant boost thanks to these tweaks. The audio quality is also top-notch, with a crisp and clear soundstage that rivals my previous favorite headset's performance. One minor quibble I do have is the mic's functionality - it works well enough for casual conversations, but I can notice a slight delay when switching between games, which may be due to Sony's gatekeeping practices. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with these headphones and the experience they've provided.
