Product Reviews

Name: Review:
The Gamesir G7 Pro feels really solid overall. The smooth and responsive triggers with a nice premium feel are standout features, complemented by great tension accurate and comfortable joysticks during longer sessions. Everything about the main controls feels well thought out, from the intuitive layout to the excellent trigger sensitivity. The only real downside for me is that the D-pad feels a bit loose compared to other controllers I've used.

The Gamesir H7 has a much more tactile, clicky D-pad that's perfect for games with precise movement and aiming. In contrast, the G7 Pro's D-pad works fine but doesn't have the same level of precision. If you're big on D-pad-heavy games, you'll probably notice the difference.

That said, the extras are excellent value for the price. The charging dock, included charge cable, and swappable features make the controller feel like a great investment rather than just another accessory. Those add-ons definitely help balance out the minor D-pad gripe.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the Gamesir G7 Pro. It's a great controller with standout triggers and sticks, and while the D-pad issue is a small concern, it doesn't detract from my overall experience.

I'd been waiting for this controller for what felt like an eternity, and when I finally received mine, my anxiety was instantly alleviated by the fact that never, ever get a hitch in your analog stick drifting, this controller has zero drift even after hours of intense FPS gameplay on PC.

The 1000Hz polling rate on my gaming PC is nothing short of phenomenal, but I do wish they'd expanded their wireless range to include Xbox users. On the other hand, I've found that the TMR sticks included are more than capable of adapting to different game modes and resolutions - just be sure to swap them out if you find your preferred configuration isn't quite right.

When it comes to connectivity options, there's no shortage of flexibility here. You can opt for wired or wireless operation on PC via their 2GHZ dongle, but I've found that the Xbox-only wired connection is a bit more... restrictive, shall we say. Still, the included Gamesir Nexus app does unlock all its features - including the ability to map buttons and keys to just about anything on your keyboard, as well as adjust dead zones and vibration strength.

Pros: Comfortable design Very low latency Swappable face plates Tactile mechanical buttons Trigger stops with hardware hair triggers Headphone jack Superb battery life up to 8 hours Cons: Only wireless on PC Could have come with a longer USB-C cable No macro support Limited polling rate on Xbox".

I spent a significant amount of money on this controller, but fortunately, you get what you pay for.

The TMR joysticks and micro switch d-pad/face buttons are significantly quieter than those found in the Series X/S controller, making it a more pleasant gaming experience.

While the price may seem steep at first glance (£89.99), the quality of these components is well worth it - I've noticed that they're far more responsive than their Xbox counterparts, and the gyro controls have a great feel to them.

The deadzone adjustments are particularly useful in terms of precision, as I can get my input down to the exact right place without any lag or hesitation.

As for durability, let's just say that after only a year or so, you'll probably be wishing you'd spent the extra £47.99 on this controller - it does have a tendency to drift and lose its accuracy over time, which is a major disappointment.

The wireless 1000Hz response time is also a huge selling point for me, as I'm using this controller exclusively with my gaming PC. And the fact that it's included with an AA battery charging dock inside is just one more convenient feature.

It's worth noting that, despite these positives, I wouldn't recommend this controller to anyone who's not already invested in Xbox - the features and controls may be vastly different from those on other consoles.
